Beauty Blender ..No more blunders
Hi All, I am back again with a new article on makeup tips. This time it is for less blessed people who do not have perfectly smooth skin, and for them the most important step of makeup is to create a good base which gives a skin flawless look. Lip and eye makeup gives boost to your look when you have perfectly even skin and foundation is the key to achieve that.
In my experiences, I have used flat foundation brush, flat top kabuki brush, stippling brush, regular sponge and I have no issues with any of the method unless and until I used “beauty blander “sponge it sounds like tele-shopping network ads..ha ha ha.
I wanted to try this one from ages and finally get my hand on to it. This is most soft sponge I have ever touched and its bright pink. Beauty blender comes in two color white and hot pink but my girly feeling wins and I opted for pink one. It is a very quality sponge because it very light in weight and not very dense, due to that it absorbs good amount of water and almost double in size.
One can use it dry for powder foundation but for liquid or cream foundation use it damp to get flawless application. You have soaked the sponge in the water; it becomes double in size, squeezed it properly and then uses it. Here is the link where you can check how to use it.
For natural and full coverage application I used it in stripling/bouncing motion, to cover up the scares I first stipple it and then do buffering motion. You can use it for concealer application, as the shape of this sponge make ease to reach at inner corner of eye around the nose. After the foundation application I just spray the MAC Fix + on the sponge and roll this sponge over the skin and you get streak less, even foundation application.
It is easy to clean also; I clean it every time I use it. I don’t use the beauty blender cleanser, instead of that I use baby body wash and it works fine. I would recommend you to wash it after application, so it not gets foundation stain and for hygiene purpose.
